So, Walmart announced the big bonus on the same day it is closing over 60 Sam's Club stores. I guess we know where the bonuses are coming from (tax break my behind.)
I wonder if they are at least going to be humane enough to also give the bonus to people they are letting go today. After all, it's been earned over their backs.
You're getting the bonus,your getting sam's share if you're club had one coming,you're getting paid till the middle of April, you're getting all PTO time and your getting severance and unemployment. Yes it's sad but it's more than they had to do and honestly it will be a nice nest egg to start your life over and find a job other than retail. Live your life for yourself not for Sam's....

Yes. Impacted associates will receive the bonus. Additionally, impacted associates will receive double pay.
