Working at Encana can be a roller coaster ride from the starting line. Depending on the department you are in, the culture can be very cut throat with fellow employees withholding valuable information just to further their own agenda - instead of putting the team/company first.
I don’t know if sr. management is aware of how just often this occurs, but it’d be nice they made sure that everybody knows working as a team is imperative compared to throwing everyone else under the bus. This type of mentality, where it is every man for himself is detrimental and causes mistrust in each other.
If we’re going to get ahead, we need to do it as a company. Thinking about your future is important, but to have a future at this company people need to think further than themselves.
