Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Why the Stock Sale by CEO is bad...

  1. Issue was known since July.

  2. VPs initiated Response Team of Senior PEs to address issue.

  3. Executive management was being briefed since July/August.

  4. CEO could have refrained from ANY stock sale therefore ANY hint of insider trading would have been mitigated.

How can Institutional investors stand for this behavior?

Does it have the appearance of impropriety?

Does it meet the spirit as well as the letter of the law?

Seems some people don't pay much attention to their own mandated corporate values training

How they can stand for this behaviour? Probably by understanding how such a stock sale is planned much better than you, OP?
