Anybody else hear rumors that Intel is planning a round of layoffs as a reaction to this whole security fiasco?
I'm hoping it's just people in my department speculating because they have nothing better to do (haven's forbid some of them actually do their jobs) but still wanted to check just in case.
LOL the layoffs would be "reacting" to something else entirely.
Hopefully there will be layoffs. Too much deadwood exists at Intel. Not needed.
Not surprising as CEO's act of his stock sale.

People who keep talking about ACTs clearly don‘t work for Intel.
Layoffs were already planned, now in the name of making security job 1. Intel is aligning resources to security and refocusing and this multiple areas will be in redeployment and some ACTs will be necessary as well
