Way to advertise the company’s finances.... I realize that we are all super upset about these layoffs but can we not let out company secrets?

Hope that gets deleted quickly 7cvx.

Literally laughing!

The new program is taking out the vision centers in Walmart. I’m not really sure why you don’t know that unless you’re not a manager.

The company is also taking out the jewelry department and putting it online.

For all you SALTY people putting down Vision Centers, we have a 62% margin and whether you like it or not, we make good money for the company. Over 2500 vc's, averaging $100,000 in profit per store is $250 million dollars. Insert Smart A$$ comments above.

Vision centers run their own p&l and from what I know it’s extra money for the company. If ran properly, they deem to be very profitable and take up very little square footage. For anyone who is ignorant to the facts, take a look at the statement yourself. Margin is much higher than the clubs average less than 5%. This is why this company is failing. They are focused too much on sales and not enough on profit and margin which is what makes or breaks a company. You can have all the sales in the world but if you’re not profitable what’s the point.

Again, I say no more Vision Centers!

No managers, no associates.

The vision center manager is pointless. It's a waste of payroll.

pharmacist schedules have always been posted 12 weeks since 2013 when s3g went into effect ... our markets pharmacist schedules are only posted until February right now ----> I think its because store closures and pharmacy hours of operation are going to be reduced in some stores and they just haven't been told yet which ones. Additionally there are some new documents on the WIRE that posted in mid December 2017 that address "management eligibility guidelines" and "management demotions". The document is has portions relating to pharmacy managers etc. You can no longer step down from being a pharmacy manager. Also to be eligible to continue being a pharmacy manager you must have a solid performer or above on your most recent performance review as well as going forward. Also you can not be a pharmacy manager if you have more than a first level coaching.
