A number of different dates have been thrown around from January 18th to the beginning of Feb. for layoffs. Sounds like nurses had a meeting about change yesterday and the All PHC call got moved from today to Jan 31 with a Town Hall Care Management meeting tomorrow to discuss updates about the business. Has everyone had team meetings this week? Has anything new been said or discussed? What was talked about in the meeting some of the nurses had yesterday about change? Hoping we all get answers sooner than later.

I'll be that person-at a time when we are worried about even having a job, let's get offended over "big-girl panties". That being said, I do hate that word, but for the same reason that I hate the word "moist". Gag.
Okay I have my Big Girl Panties on. They feel ok but my wife is giving me odd looks.
In regards to "Big Girl Panties", @Rh7sEqC-1wik why assume it was a woman who made that remark? ; ).
Unfortunately I can’t agree op. I don’t find it offensive like the other poster it’s just a cliche saying.
Not sure how that's degrading. I'm certainly not offended by a cliche. More important things in this world to worry about then be offended by a silly phrase
Best intentions here--and please don't jump all over me--but can all the ladies posting on this site please agree to avoid using the phrase "put on your big girl panties"? It's overused and degrading and just not helpful in any way.
Hcmrn and we haven't had a team meeting in a very long time. Coach cancelled them a while back without explanation and won't answer any questions. Even if your coach is being vague, that's better than what we are getting from ours.
HCM-RN here. Had our team meeting this morning. Was told to put our big girl panties on and get ready for a roller coaster of change. Coach said to make sure we are at the town hall meeting, no excuses, and to pay very close attention to what is said. She would not answer questions, just said to pay very close attention.
I predict the next RIF will happen February 6th. Humana has to report their next quarterly earnings on the 8th and the last RIF happened two days before the last reporting on earnings.
I’m an HCM RN and the embracing change meeting was very vague and she wouldn’t answer questions. It was using coping skills and what not. Gave us a number to call if we need counseling service etc.
Or maybe that poster is being laid off, for whatever reason, but not others
It wasn’t even a good lie s—-head
What is the point of lying?
Why lie? I don't get that
To the poster below who is trying to cause panic or false hope because one never received an email...... really? The man above is taking note.....
This is lieing. No mails have gone to this subject.
I don’t the poster is being honest. To my knowledge no emails have gone out.
No email here yet. What time is meeting?
I’m a PHC with no confidential email. I hope this person is being honest.
So soon?!? Is mtg today or tomorrow??
Confidential emails to PHC ( my role) just went out. Good luck everyone and i hope you can find something that makes you all around happy
You can't read anything into training. It seems at least someone is trying to help their teams cope. The consensus seems to be early Feb 60 day notice to be given. All PHC's to go, large number of RN's to go and a similar number of CHE's and HCM-SS jobs. Severance package to be the same. Bonus will be paid. I don't know any of this to be fact, it's what I have gleaned from different posts on this site.
Hcm Rn and no meeting yesterday about change. Some teams have training about managing Chang......
