My store (Kmart) has been open until 10pm for years. It was recently cut back to 9pm. Is this a sign the store is closing? I was told the DM made the call.

My sears store for the longest time was open st 9am on Sunday’s. A few years ago they changed to 11am on sundays just like another Sears about 13 mikes away
Nobody thought much about it because it gave the ad setters more time to do the ad on Sundays and it just made sense
Lots of Kmart’s that traditionally stayed open until 10 age now being cut back to 9. Many are opening at either 9 or 10am. The business just doesn’t support staying open until 10 and opening at 8 for most stores anymore.
Nah. My Sears cut back to 9pm quite a while ago. We are unfortunately closing now, but that change in time was never a sign of it back when that happened.
A little bit off topic when I went to work today I see 3 ASM (3 damn ASM sitting their asses down chit chatting). My ASM says next week hours are horrible for my department. We got another big cut for next week getting 10 hours each of my co wokers (I might be lucky and get 14 to no more than 16). Just pathetic what it is once again cutting the hours.
I wouldn't say yes or no, but it isn't a good sign in general. Honestly though, I have no idea why my Kmart is even open at 8am when most of time it's a god damn ghost town.
Here we go again. Hours cut, this brand not coming in, yada yada yada. All excuses to think you're store is closing. Yes they are closing and it's just a matter of time. Has nothing to do with trivial stuff like that..

The sign that proves your store is closing is the one that says Kmart out front. But the change in store hours doesn't mean it's happening right away.

yes your store is closing the next round. I jsut looked it up and its slated to close 5/2018.
