Today was the day for the Humana announcement of more "IMPACTED" associates. Truly an afterthought to the introduction of the new leadership. Be prepared those impacted will get email on the week of February 5 -9th, with the 8th being the target date. No ethical person is involved with this process, as folks would have been told long ago, and not made to wait.

Um. We are hourly now and get paid overtime
I cant stand how everyone is so quiet about this! Im having such a hard time focusing on anything while waiting. Hoping they make announcements tomorrow (Feb 1st) I think the cruelest part of all is the wait.
Well, the final axe has fallen for all PHCs and Live Healthy as a whole. I appreciate the advance warning given by previous posters in positions to know. I have to say there is some relief in finally hearing it from the horse's mouth. Those PHCs who are still here have suffered through 4 previous RIFs while constantly being told there was a place for our role in the future of HAH. Now we know the truth: we were being closely scrutinized for elimination all year long. I truly feel for the nurses and social workers and others who are coping with uncertainty right now and waiting for final notification. Best of luck to everyone moving forward.
1100 HCMs in all of HAH. That includes HCCP, LTIH, so, etc.
How many HCM RNs do we have total? 500 seems like a lot to let go

I am so sorry for all who are impacted! Please forgive my ignorance. When where did they announce layoffs? Have people already been given notice they are being laid off?

I read so many bad ways Humana treats their employees prior to working here but didnt want to believe it and came anyways. Should have known better. In all the jobs i have had as nurse never treated so poorly. Never lost 1 job Ever!!

The cuts are ALL Live Healthy PHC's, and their Coaches, COMs and Directors, along with about 400-500 HCM, RNs, and their coaches, COMs and Directors, and whatever the % of HCM-SS that are effected due to the cuts in the mentioned departments. I anticipate CHEs as well, and possible HAH administration. Deep cuts I believe starting in early February, and then more drastic changes for those who remain. And no, I will not tell you how I know, for the same reasons you wouldn't! No, I am not malicious, and don't dig upsetting people; I feel it is morally ethical that people be informed and have time to prepare, but not everyone feels this way; hence, the stealth. May the force be with us all.
HCM RN here......I will not be able to work and focus with all this looming. I really wish they would tell us now. My team is speechless. Why was HR not on this call? I would like to know what criteria is used to decide who is layed off. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone.
Severance after 60 days. 2 weeks per year worked. Plus they will continue your insurance thru severance period

So Live Healthy is gone as predicted but HAH is not folding. Did any PHC get a formal notification that your program was ending prior to this meeting?
Thankfully stating to all of you that there is life after Humana stress, ups and downs. Accepted early retirement in nov 2017. Finally healing and beginning to feel human again. I lost all that during my last 2 years as a HAH care manager. Worked there for 6 Years. While it is never a good time to be laid off, good jobs are out there. To all of you the very best wishes. Hang in there, make the right decisions, move forward.
You will all get 60 days but not all will have to work the 60 days. Same as every other layoff. Some are released early but still get paid for 60 days
I just wish they would let the ones know who are affected so we can move on. This is crazy to say we are going to let people go but we don't know how many so sit on eggshells until the emails go out...
i love how some will get 60 days and others told that day is their last...how ethical is that? Discriminatory if ask me...

How is this unethical? They are giving warning for us, not blindsiding us. It gives us an e tra 3 week’s to start looking for jobs before the 60 day notice.

She is saying FEB 1st.....i knew this crap of putting members into monitored status once that was done we were going to get the ax.....this company has no heart or compassion and is totally unethical in several ways. Plus the fact the website is posting for hiring....seriously
