I heard a rumor there was another layoff coming soon. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Manpower reductions are a precursor to selling the business. Hopefully they sell to someone who understands the professional side of the business.
The smart ones have already left, so what does that tell you ?
If you do not have staff it’s because your sales s---. Next stop is locking the doors. Wise up.
The pattern of reducing staff is looking like Sears and Kmart. Unless Advance decides to focus on being in the auto parts business they might as well shut stores down as they tend to have too many within throwing distance to one another.
Well, unless they close my store then myself and my crew should be safe. I am working with a basic 2 workers per shift schedule. basic skeleton crew so it cant get any worse, if it did I would have to go to 1 person on a shift and that's going against current SOP so unless that changes GM's and minimum person crews are safe. Now if you have a 8 to 10 person crew then you might be forced to eliminate some team members.
Why any one still works for this lousy company is beyond me, I saw the writing on the wall several years ago and said enough was enough and good bye.
I heard on Friday that the cam reduction was going to happen first, then overall in regions not hitting their sales targets. I’m at the Raleigh office.
