No matter what companies are going to make adjustments that are best to keep the company is viable. Sam’s Club and Walmart are not the only companies closing locations and laying off thousands of people. The best thing for everyone on this site just to relax and not worry about what is going to come. There is nothing we can do about any changes that may come our way. The best thing we can do is be prepared for them and make the best of whatever situations life throws at you. May God bless everyone.

with all my years at Sams there have been two guarantees ...1.things are going to change 2. things will get worse
Exactly,I’ve been with the company for 31 years and want to make a decision on should I stay or leave.I have already been searching for a new position to be proactive,but it’s hard to make a decision if one comes available.
I do agree with you, but it still s---s. I've been with the company for 23 years, and it's never been as bad as recent years. Before you could just roll with the punches. Now it's like staying with the company is career suicide. I have lost a couple of positions due to restructuring, and now I have lost my entire store. So excuse me if I have lost all trust and any point to go on with Walmart/Sam's. It has become too obvious that this company is going belly up. Yes change happens and the internet is a big part of that. So I can't relax, I have a family. They rely on me. Starting over is going to hit is hard. I can not stay with Sam's. I can't wonder what next year will bring, and the one after that and so on. I'm now forced to jump into unfamiliar waters before things get worse. Not trying to be dramatic or scare people, but I'd advise others to do the same. Don't stay on a sinking ship.
AGREE WITH YOU.People will post stuff on here that they know nothing about. Sometimes I think they do it just to get others upset. Nothing is written in stone yet. And like you said, just prepare yourselves.
I totally agree with everything you said I read this site so I can prepare for something I know will probably happen and I'm not stressing about it just trying to prepare
