Thread regarding Community Health Systems Inc. layoffs

We are not doormats!

I’ve been with CHS almost 3 years and it never ceases to amaze me on how much favoritism is apparent in my department. I’ve seen some of our managers belittle another employee just to gain popularity within their clique.

Do you really think shaming or intimidating another employee will make you seem like the leader you are supposed to be??? If anything you show yourself to be very unprofessional and childish in nature. You’re supposed to be better than that. We need better than that.

CHS has had a miserable reputation over employee satisfaction since its inception back in the early 90's. Ditto for improving the quality of patient care. Their only "vision" for the future is making EBITDA goals at month end and doing the bare minimum to retain accreditation and licensure. I hope you have survived the various rounds of layoffs.
