Every day talking heads on TV tell us that everything is AWESOME! And the economy is BOOMING!
And most people desperately want to believe this, despite what they see in front of their own eyes. Some people can watch their friends, colleagues, relatives, all lose jobs and they still don't get it because they believe a talking head or govt statistic over what they see right in front of their eyes.
People, take off the beer glasses and open your eyes. Things are NOT wonderful, practically every company in the country is laying people off and don't give me the "Amazon's fault" BS. Today, the latest major layoff announcement by a big corporation of 5000 jobs gone and factories closing.

Amazon had NOTHING to do with this, nor does Amazon have anything to do with every Tech co. laying off, from IBM to Oracle. Why do I say this? Simply so you will not be confused but will understand what is going on.
I'm sorry it isn't good news, I'm sorry I'm not telling you what you want to hear, but I would be lying to you if I said that and so many of you prefer a pretty lie to an ugly truth. The truth may not feel good but believing a lie will not help you in any way.
