We all want to believe that this is a temporary pain for long term gain, as the saying goes, but it isn't. This is the beginning of a new reality for most people, as anyone who cannot see things are changing must be utterly blind.
Walmart hired gazillions of people post 2008 to help "The recovery" and now that is changing fast. When a company like Walmart is even laying people off, you better know things are changing. One look at the "Latest Posts" section of this site is all the proof anyone needs in order to see this is going on practically everywhere right now.
Layoffs, downsizing, "stealth" layoffs that are not announced, etc, etc and on and on it goes. Whether you're ready for it or not, the world is changing and probably not for the better.
