Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Lp/ap - the red headed child of wm

For people who have been with the company over the years, we always see the writing on the walls right before a big ap slash. The "change" has always typically happened right after a big "restructure" within the company (like our most recent co release and apasm roles).

So what do you think? Will they take us away for a year again before they realize they screwed up? Maybe reintegrate ap ops positions?

The move of apms to report to sm is first step in eliminating mapms. Not sure why we even have rapms considering what they do.

It is clear we wont be around much longer.

I am looking every day for new role. I cant take not knowing if I have a job or not one day to the next.

I feel for the co managers who had to sit and wait 2 weeks to know if they had a job or not. Mapms did it in sept and oct and will again soon.

Heard divisional walk happened same day as co mgrs being told if safe or not in florida. Poor taste shown. Going to tear up a store on a day like that. That shows they dont care about people any more. Heard my market is getting visit next week. Again poor timing. Take most mgmt out of building, low moral, and then tour the store. Poor taste for sure. Wont change either.

They know we need jobs and they know we have to stay to support our families. Hope I find something else soon.
