Any coaches out there or anyone have any insight on how long hcm-rn laid off will have to work? Full 60 days or let go early like the last group? thanks

Rug! Thank you so much! Thank you! First person to confirm this! Everyone is so afraid of this! Thank you!
I was laid off last round and found anew job. I had to work 30 of the 60 day notice. I started my new job immediately. I still received the rest of the 60 day pay plus severance. I was told I was still an employee of Humana during those 60 days and could be called back at anytime. And that if I didn't return, I would lose it. But let's be honest, they aren't calling folks back.
Qfx that makes the most sense to me. Thanks.
I really wish people would stop spreading false information. The whole point of early release is to find another job. There is no penalty to starting work somewhere else if you are on early release. The only ways you can forfeit your severence is if you Quit before early release, fail to meet the minimum standards expected of you prior to early release, or break the contract they make you sign to get severence, which includes things like You're not allowed to join a class action lawsuit against Humana.
You can work somewhere else while getting severance as long as it’s not a Humana affiliate company.
I believe you can’t work somewhere during 60day notice. (Not 100% about that)
Hopefully we will leave sooner to get vacation & job seek
Well if you get impacted, why wouldn’t you “risk” getting caught? Wouldn’t you want to get a new job or are you looking for a vacation? Personally, I’d like to get a job & keep the extra money.
If you take another full time job outside the company before the 60 days it is considered a resignation. You are welcome to risk getting caught.
I feel like this would depend on what they plan to transition to. Will they need us RN's to help make the transition or will we just be in the way and hinder the process. Who knows. The waiting game is almost over though. Thank God.
Can anyone help explain why you can’t work somewhere else & still get severance ? How would Humana know? How does it work?
I believe the last group was notified on Nov 2. Some of them (Not all) were told they didn't need to come it after the 22nd. CORRECT ME if I AM wrong.
Nobody knows the answer to that because we don’t know the exact date of the layoff. Just an FYI, even if you are not required to work you are still an employee for the full 60 days. Meaning you cannot get a job somewhere else at the same time and collect your severance.
how early did the last group get to leave?
