If PnL is bad for everyone in team, will they replace director and MDs or let VPs be scapegoats?

Mds, directors and such will get the chance to save themselves thru layoffs
Most likely cut the pizza budget and stop the free coffee. OK let me stop before I give them any ideas
Most likely only VPs, associates and tellers will be impacted
