While I have no love for Trudeau, I point out these facts: If this is the case, then Enbridge Execs INCREASING their bonuses is wrong. They have failed. They should be FIRED, for failing to advance the company...they TOOK bonuses...so your statement that its Trudeau's fault is deflecting from the truth...no actually...ITS A LIE!!! I notice they did NOT turn down their annual bonuses....including and especially Al M. I also noticed that Company profits have INCREASED. Therefore your logic that its the fault of the Trudeau government is CRAP. Its excessive profiteering that is screwing employees. Read their own annual report.
I throw out this tidbit every so often: under the Obama administration the US built 8,000 miles of new oil pipelines. Under the Harper government during roughly that same time Canada built 0 miles. ZERO!! Under the Trudeau Government there are approvals (not builds) for 2,000 miles of new pipelines. Build is 2-3 years away. I'm throwing it out there because a) when the US talks about energy independence they really mean it; and b) sometimes being not "seen" as a cheerleader is just enough to get projects over the line.
