Hard Exit or Soft Exit?

Good chance I am going to be let go on Tuesday. I wonder if I should go hard exit and just leave or stay around and chat with my colleagues for an hour or so? My colleagues I will miss, my VP, SVP and the leadership team I will not.

Maybe some pasta on Monday will make me feel better....

I just left. What’s the point of staying? What could you or they possibly say to make it better? Take the package and leave.

I prefer the semi-hard method

I’m debating the same thing but I think i will just leave. It’s awkward to stay. And waiting around to drink with people sounds lame.

Why would anyone want to stay once being free’d. Shackles are off- on to the next chapter.

In 2014 we all went to the bar afterwards... actually some started early because we found out earlier than we were suppose to. Anyhow both those that were axed and those that were not showed up, It was good time to vent some steam and was a great time. Don't be bitter, if you get cut and a package you are a lucky one.
