Wal-Mart should offer a voluntary layoff option. I bet some long term partners would take it.

True,,, Start with the Market Teams, give the money to the Operators so they can drive the business. Not have their days or weeks dirupted by these Clowns.
You are not alone! The greatest waste of resources are the. Market Managers and the supposed Market teams. Some are more professional than others, most are a joke. Everyone knows it, including every one of them. They offer zero support, most are despised by the Club Teams. They are takers, manipulate the system to care for their cronies usually even more incompetent than they are. The majority cannot run Clubs do not know the business nor understand it. Just look around at the most successful Operator, Costco in the segment. ( Wholesale Clubs) the level after a GM is a Regional VP who cover large swaths of the business. It is a problem with over managing and promoting incompetents to run Clubs. Company is just a political organization based purely on who the MM likes or targets. Discipline is administered as a weapon unequally , and in full violation of not just our Core Beliefs, but of any legal defense of our Corrective Disciplinary process. That is what everyone should be upset about. What was done to GM,and ASMs was nothing more than an act of revenge for MM
Who settled scores. Take away their Cell phones, lap tops six figure salaries bonuses and stock options, oh yeah they get that at Market level. No one else does. Take away their cars , the millions saved could have helped the Field Team. They are nothing more than parasites on the organization. They offer nothing but confusion, tyranny, are generally dismissive of Management and Associates, often disrespectful and crude. All facts, something every Member of Management and most Team Members can attest to daily. They are the most unproductive group in the company, in fact they ae the problem. The Executive level has to deal with the worse offenders first. Look at the losses turnover and failure of GMs ASMs, it's not the Tea,s it's incompetent , vindictive unqualified Market Managers and Co Horts who try to terrorize Club Management into believing they have reached the point being omnipotent, all knowing and treat everyone like they are less than, dirt under their shoe. Gisel, John, Doug, want to know what's wrong , look at this last round of political firestorms created by these people, and what they sold you, lied to you, distorted facts to suit their narratives . They are destroying the Company and hey, guess what , they cannot fix anything at Club level. They just do not have the skills or ability, or heart, they don't care, they are in the business of having Club Teams take falls for their incompetence. We all know it, so how come the Executives pretend you do not. Just think about it. Ten really visit these clubs unannounced week nights, weekends weekend nights , and guess what you will find. That of course will only be true when they don't know your flight information or give their faves the heads up. You are not seeing real world Clubs and standards. Come to the Metro Clubs with intention seeing what really happens. There will be a lot less of these folks around when you see the human carnage they create, the standards they cannot deliver and the incompetents they tolerate running your businesses.
