Tipsturd ' master plan revealed. All of the actions taken are what you do when you go public. Sell hard assets meaning your owned properties, consolidate resources meaning move operations to the sun belt, get rid of long term higher paid employees for cheaper labor then eliminate mutual status to go public or sell. Name one move made that ensures the continued mutual company status. He is not making these changes to benefit the company he is doing it for himself. He will issue himself millions of shares then leav SF high and dry. Worse of all others have to be in on it for him to get so far meaning they have been promised a piece of the pie...pure greed. Mark my words...greed is behind it all.

The knowledge of what an IPO is, does, and its purpose would help to those posting......and looking at the year on the calendar #moron. The prior poster gets it.

Companies can in fact be demutualized. Most former mutual companies have been. However, I don't think SF is a good candidate for demutualization for the sake of a public IP because they don't have a need to "raise capital." The company is awash in cash. Why go public?

I think it's far more likely that the company will be demutualized for the purposes of being acquired by a larger company with multi-national interests. They'll be skating around the borders of a lot of laws if this is the road they go down, but it makes a lot of sense of the otherwise confounding decisions they've been making lately.

The money invested in the market that sf has is owned by policy holders, not private investors.

It’s a mutual company. That’s how it was set up.

Keep your eye out for Wall Street looking scum and SEC paperwork in any "strange" vehicle you see in the parking areas
