What is the last approval needed to close the NXP deal? China. Allowing Broadcom plenty of time for a hostile takeover bid. Intel is just firing a warning shot at Broadcom and Hock Tan.
That said, Qualcomm needed a shake up in the upper echelons, and that is happening. I would not be surprised to see quite a few unexpected changes at very high levels.
