What is the best possible outcome (for Apple) of this Qualcomm / Broadcom / Intel saga? Status quo? Intel wins everything? Prolonged drama that distracts everyone except Apple?

Someone made a pretty conclusive case here recently to prove that Apple is behind the Broadcom takeover attempt.
Yes. I think Apple will convince court they will gladly pay fair royalty but as a percentage of chip price not total handset price. There was report on CNBC that said Huawei has 20% of 5G patents. May be a patent pool system too where all IP holders get apportioned royalty
Status quo. APPL surely doesnt want the two key, large suppliers to merge. Its in APPL interest if all of Intel, Broadcomm and Q compete to supply all the parts that AAPL need.
Apple wins no matter what.
