Nuclear fusion on brink of being realised, say MIT scientists

This probably doesn't bode well for fossil fuel dependent GE Power. But I'm happy if it can make electricity cleaner, cheaper, and more reliable.

You people still havent figured out how to draw energy from the universe like Tesla was doing?

They're closer to doing it now than they've ever been. And with all of the renewed efforts to get it to work, they have a better chance to succeed than ever. And once they do, dinosaurs like GE Power will just be the 21st century version of buggy whip manufacturers.
