Just my two cents, a bit off topic (layoffs) but somewhat relevant nonetheless. Putting things into perspective - the job market is tightening across the board and this is especially true when it comes to quality tech staff. If you have skills, you will have options and as of now I am not aware of any other company in our industry having major layoffs (2014 and 2015 were different as they followed an immense boom in the industry).
