nobody is going to know anything for sure until the last minute ..ive been with the company for 10 yrs and ive learned they always drop the bomb at the last minute with no warning ...nobody is going to find out anything at all from this website until the greedy corporate leaches decides to let them know
Are they planning on getting rid of lead and clerk? Who will receive the freight that still comes in? Will it be parttime?
I meant lead receiving. Not being filled now if open.
When all the kinks and bugs are worked out of the new scheduling system is when clerks will be gone.

If a lead takes a different job they aren’t filling it anymore. This isn’t a club level decision either. This says all you need to know.
Do I know what is going to happen and when “NO” only what is going on in my region. You still have a full time job just not what you want it to be, sitting in an office. Our associates are working 2 hours in the office putting paperwork in the Magic Box instead of a filing cabinet and the Reston the floor where needed and doing audits... I really don’t think they are going to offer any severance packages. One lesson learned the hard way

Receiving clerks will work 2 hours in the office and they will work 6 hours on the floor...take it or leave it. I think this is their plans, giving you still your full time hours . No severance packages... so it is your choice to stay or leave the company
Don't they think we would quit if we could? I can't stand going in that place but I HAVE to have money. Either a paycheck or severance but I have to pay my bills. Even if they told us now we would still be there until mid-June. I've actually e-mailed a couple news sources to tell them how the Wal-mart Corp. are treating us.I hope others will do the same thing. It's better than sitting here being their little chumps waiting for our fate after being loyal associates for many, many years. Ww deserve better than to be treated like this.

Same here.trying to take it day by day hoping for severance. Hang in there clerks.don't give this company that satisfaction and quit.that's just what they want us to do

I agree with YOUR logic. But lately when has the company used logic when it comes to making decisions. I had hoped that we would have heard something (Hell anything) by now. Yes, it is quiet obvious that "Respect for the Individual" is an ancient practice in this once respected company of ours. But I guess we are to be partially blamed for still being here. It is our choice to leave or stay, I am just sticking around for the hopes of a severance pay out. I understand that it is difficult for some to leave the company due to pay, benefits and etc. that we have worked numerous years to obtain. However, there is really no one perfect solution to appease all involved. Best of luck to everyone involved weather you stay with the company or pursue positions elsewhere.

Still need the scheduling app to be a go before clerk decision, much less receiving team decision, is near. I think in May that’s the plan. Q2 and Q3 have been mentioned as possible deadlines. No reason for clerk to go phones can’t go unanswered, correct? Appears to be business as usual til then.

I expected to hear something today. I still expect to within the next two weeks.
That's right, they told our Audit team on a Tuesday morning. The only time our CM ever came in early was to tell someone that their position was being eliminated.
