Not sure about MOC but big changes for the current UTC process. More work for us even though no CGX documentation for the attempts. We still have to make so many calls in a short period of time & we have to remember to call those UTCs. I guess we will be using HCAT calendar more and scheduling calls.

I was part of the last RIF and actually so glad. Poster is right, ever since SB came onboard we were circling the drain. Green ribbon just changed to Humana Cares when i came. That name USED to be true, they used to CARE but not anymore.

This new process is volume to get reimbursed, they could careless about member wellbeing so do not believe the smoke and mirrors or the rah rah cheerleading altitudes.

Now the higher ups are writing up people, pushing harder and harder in audits etc and the main purpose is the intent to close this program down. They are trying to get you fired or to quit so they do not have to do nore severance $$$ and look like liars and bad reputation even worse.

HCCP. No more MOC. No more long term roster members. Move everyone currently on the roster to monitored. When you get new members call them 3 times in 1 month and push to complete all the surveys then move them straight to monitored. Wash rinse and repeat.

They told us last year, and they said it again yesterday, they’re moving into behavioral health for the longer term management of members, and the role of the CM will be changed as HAH changes

I don’t believe that member engagement is what they’re looking for at this point. They are talking about short term management and addressing alerts post discharge. This is moving more towards a nurse alert line and support for members that do have health questions . I do see more layoffs in the future just not sure when

Move all members to monitored so that those 90k a year can be shuffled into the system, get their surveys done in a hurry with no time to focus on member needs, move them on to monitored then as well. End result is a working census of 90k members in managed status at any one time. 90k members with no rapport with their HCM, and no time to build a rapport because you are rushed to complete multiple surveys all at once. 90k members that they won't need as many HCM's to manage because the managed number will be less than half what it is now. We were told multiple times this was coming. Less managed member numbers, more shuffling members through surveys and to monitored status, less staffing needs will equal more layoffs, member engagement will suffer and benefit of the program will continue to decline. Let's not also forget that their enrollment predictions have been higher than the reality of enrollment in the past, so that 90k is likely a generous estimate. Sometime in the future someone will decide the program is not worthwhile and will scrap it, I believe that with all my heart. I don't think anyone currently has plans to close HAH, but it's obvious it's nothing more than a dumping ground that no one in upper management cares about or expects to succeed anymore. That means it's only a matter of time before someone figures it's not worth the hassle.

I didn't hear more layoffs at all. We are enrolling something like 90k per year from what he said and we are going to have more triggers from monitored. I thought it sounded pretty good. Am I wrong?

Always makes me nervous to hear HR is attending, just because of the past. But it means they are still monitoring things, so I guess that’s good.
