Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Beach time..in consulting..

working for consulting-- I never ever remember

so many consultants on the bench in Q4 as it is the case now..like today..

the maximum allowed used to be 2 weeks..and you were out..

the sad part is..considering all the 'cloud' implementation technical changes--

OCS could send to clients some consultant who played a demo on his laptop just this past week as an expert... the best is yet to come..what they tell us.@#$!

Sizzling hot? OMG! Zero capacity is a better answer! In plain English, oracle has no cloud because it has invested in products or data center capacity. Nada!

Capacity isn't allocated until a paying customer demands the capacity. Most customers with Cloud credits aren't using them, therefore there isn't any demand. And round and round it goes.

Oracle is keeping costs low by not investing -- in its infrastructure or its employees. The fact that Cloud employees don't have demo accounts should be a pretty clear message about the state of the Oracle Cloud to both customers and employees.

That's cause there is no capacity to start with. Bad planning.

cloud must be sizzling hot. In development they tell us that no free/trial accounts are available because all new capacity is sold to customers immediately.
