What's the latest on layoffs? Are we looking at more any time soon? I haven't heard anything, and there are usually at least some rumblings.
I'd appreciate any info.

I am 59 got laid off with no notice no offer to move elsewhere , nothing, lucky I have contacts that offered me employment.. My LinkedIn has helped out . I also requested to be added to every HR Rep for CenturyLink I could find on Linked in including all the VP 's ... you never know they may have a conscience and offer me my job back.... Ha !
A lot of things make no sense. They tell us we have too much CST headcount and cut positions. The CSTs are loaded 20-30 jobs a day and then are forced to work mandatory OT every night and have to work 10hrs on non-scheduled days. Carry over jobs every night cause you can't do 20+ jobs a day.
But...CO, Special Circuit And Business Techs sit and look at each other every day all day with no work for years and no cuts. They just shake their heads every time cuts are in CST.
I wish I had another job to jump to!!! I would be out of this sinking ship in a heart beat! But, at 59 years old, how the heck would I start another career?
people are leaving. area manager over long haul national techs for Arizona is quitting friday. Area manager over west Texas, New mexico long haul National and ALBQ metro is quitting on Friday. Jumping ship !

And how can you get a 3% raise in Managed Services when it was stated by Glenn Post that there would be NO pay rises in 2018?
