That guy has to be joking. How could anyone on this forum not know that State Farm has literally laid off thousands of people within the last couple of years and will lay off thousands more before they are finished?

Please tell me you're joking. Sarcasm doesn't translate well to the internet.

If you're serious, I'll make a couple of points:

1) Yes, people are being laid off, as there is not "a job somewhere" for everyone being termed within the company.

2) Yes, it's called "being laid off" even if you're offered a chance to relocate (which many are not).
