So, now we lose a major client because the government decided to ban US companies to sell components to ZTE. It looks like Qualcomm will pay by far the highest price for this spat between US and China.

ZTE brings us $0.5B business a year. Without ZTE, we will erode faster.

The ZTE situation is indeed unfortunate for Q. This is not simply Trump upping the trade war - with full knowledge its just a negotiating game from which he will back now via twitter. The fact is ZTE repeatedly lied to the US, repeatedly failed to honor their promises to the US. ZTE cannot be trusted.
