Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Lanyards

Used to you could get a replacement lanyard from building (floor) support. No more, as you have to go to the company store and buy one for a couple bucks. Ya i get it those couple bucks add up but in also get penny wise pound foolish also

What 90% of changes are you talking about that make sense? Nothing that the Farm does makes sense to me, EVER. So please advise us what these changes are that make sense, cause I'm not seeing it.

@SJirDZC-1fee I think the decisions make sense (90% is high though), but the way the decisions are being carried out is head scratching. For instance in the bank, with the new director assignments but no manager or analyst assignments there’s no direction on what work to do, and people are more anxious that ever.

be honest...don't about 90% of all these changes with SF make sense?

No. The lanyard thing makes sense to me, but I'd say it's among the 5% of changes that actually do.

The penny pinching CEO thinks that will help save the company.
