Layoff won't boost stocks, it's not 1990 anymore.
If anything, if the layoff looks too small to meet the $1Billion cost reduction figure already baked in, stocks may drop more.
And this is exactly what's happening! Instead of seeing a boost in stock price, it went down. I wonder what genius plan they'll think of to fix this... By the time they are done, we'll be lucky if Qualcomm is still standing.
