Past experience told me: The later you leave, the LESS you get. True story.
My manager told me to shut up and don't tell anyone if I know someone or a friend of mine got laid off and stop spreading the negative vibe..what a jerk!
The thing is, I am out too :)
Support all colleagues staying behind too because you never know. Those who stay behind are facing an even more uncertain future and might let go with empty handed.
It can tell you anything now because I bet he thinks that you should be thankful and comply just because you are still there.
