Please, please, please let there be layoffs. This is so exciting!
If you're in such a hurry, leave now. I'm sure with your skill set you'll be working again in no time. Otherwise, shut up and go back to work. There is nothing you can do about it anyway.

We at GE transportation in Erie are also tired of waiting.We want the truth.Work gets slower and slower in a year that was supposed to pickup.I think we are not ever going to pickup and I think we are finished but tell us the truth.
There will be 225 layoffs on May 11th. These will be announced by your new plant manager on May 4th at your meeting. Im just a lowly office guy who overhears people talking. What do I know?

Self layoffs are always available. Just tell your supervisor you want to explore external opportunities and you need a box and escort by security out of the site.
