Guess they just don't get it. Time to throw out the old and bring in the new. And in this case even more so. Why would anyone appoint the new Corporate Audit Staff from inside? GE is being scrutinized up and down. They should have brought it someone with a solid 20+ year career in Audit. Hopeless

Audit is about risk mitigation to the leadership not about integrity or actually fixing broken compliance gaps.
Who better to protect the leadership than one of their own.
Well this is certainly the crepuscular time for GE. They can't get through the day with out using another tmesis phrase. Some think that a petrichor audit is coming. I don't. These nebbish auditors won't make much of a difference.
