I've heard (and I think somebody mentioned it here as well) that CenturyLink is planning major layoffs sometime this quarter.
Does somebody here know more about this and is willing to share with the rest of us?
It can be really stressful to know layoffs are coming but not know any of the details, such as where and how many.
What job title do have in Denver regarding layoffs
I don't know how they could possible lay anyone off in our area. We have carryover jobs every day even working mandatory OT every day and OT on non-scheduled days. But....i guess it's possible. I was just in school in Missouri with guys from all over and nobody has heard of any involuntary cuts, just packages as far as techs are concerned. I am 58 and just praying it holds together 4 more years, but not very hopeful
We heard they commonly do them on pay days. Heard a few people say something is happening today but have not seen anything yet. Does anyone know if they do layoffs at the end of the day, beginning or just sometime during the shift?
I know a few people that were laid off in Denver today. Unfortunately, this company is notorious for extensive layoffs.
