Thread regarding Chicago Bridge & Iron layoffs

MDR is in charge

It may be called a merger of so called equals, but the fact is becoming apparent that MDR is the top dog in this fight.

The recent announcement of the new executive leadership. 10 MDR execs, 4 CBI execs. Given the proven incompetency of CBI management, still probably overweighted on CBI participation in the new company.

The reality, like it or not, is that MDR is in charge and calling the shots.

So, so true, @STHXTqQ-hxw. And this is why I am petrified of what's to come. Who do you think will get the short end of the stick when it comes to consolidation layoffs in a situation like this?

I am not surprised by MDR's dominance. That was stated from the get go. I will not be surprised even if MDR get rid of loss making divisions like E&C.
