verizpn closing the call centers in the u.s. has been in motion since 2013. due to the special rules qualifying employees for hba and those employees unable to move due to housing, spouses, custody agreements, etc., vz will attrition 50 percent of these employees, which is what they want. moving to hba saves overhead. easier to fire without retribution by turning off citrix access. yet the tax abatements in these cities remain unaffected since they are based solely on the number of people employed in these metro areas. pretty shrewd.

Yeah its because they are gonna work from home. 700 employees will now be in their pajamas answering calls lol
