While you still have life left in you, jump from this festering quicksand pit and don't look back. Oracle is not doing you any favors.

Some people are just "stuck" at Oracle. They get in a rut, stop thinking about how their skills are becoming outdated, forget that there is a world outside with all kinds of things to do. Some people need to be reminded of that. Staying at Oracle, if you are not just waiting for retirement, is a death sentence for a career.
The cloud may be a big deal inside of Oracle, but outside, Oracle's fake and late cloud effort is nothing. Adding that you wasted time working on a cloud failure is not going to look good on your resume later.
Some people just need a reminder of where they are at and what they are really doing to their career to get up the courage to get out.
Friends don't let friends work at Oracle.

It's called sour grapes. And I agree, if someone is content at Oracle, what business is it of mine to tell him to leave?
Facts are useful in determining if one should stay or leave, especially accurate layoff information. But emotional outbursts are not useful.
You could be waiting for a package forever. In the mean time, your skills set is not getting any better. Think twice about waiting for that package. The world is out there waiting for you.
Why leave without a package? We all are waiting for that!
