For those clubs that closed their doors in January, today is the last day to be employed at another Sam's or Walmart or take severance. I was lucky enough to find another job right away, and wow life outside is beautiful!! I have yet to talk to others who don't feel the same. Unfortunately there were many who flocked to other Sam's and Walmart due to fear of not finding anything or moving out of their comfort zone. Let me encourage you that there are great places out there. You can break away, and find something where you get treated right. Of course it's scary, but so many are landing great jobs, and all of them have higher pay! If you want it you have to go for it! It's sad to see those who said they were taking severance, to suddenly jump into another Sam's without even trying to find something else. Unfortunately some of them will be faced with the same fate next year when other clubs close. I am so excited to have started another chapter in my life! I would have to agree. Coming from someone who's club closed last year. I took the leap, and found an amazing job. I am so happy where I landed. Good luck to you all!
