You won't hear anything solid until official announcement is made! "We are committed to DSD" as we have been told so many times by senior leadership is true. We are contracted to provide retailers full service as outlined in our contracts. Imagine what things may look like if they told us we were leaving DSD, mass exodus which could compromise things. If nothing else RMS would have a heck of a time scheduling if there was a mass exodus. Likely PT people won't get a package and we rely too heavily on PT help. Reason they are hiring as they are, if you have a pulse..welcome aboard! They will need bodies. The next three months we are assisting Kroger with tweeking the CAO and getting on hands correct as well as quantities for sales. We have already been assigned a catalogue number for the Kroger warehouse, visible in most markets now on the shelf tag, top left corner where it use to read, DSD. Why would we be in Kroger warehouse if it wasn't coming in their trucks? I'm sure they will find some sort of story to string people along, "one team one dream". All things point to a July exit, coincidently the same month last year Keebler exited. If you need proof look around. If you need more than that just hang on a little while longer, it's coming. They won't tell us before they are required to. They may also make some changes April in sales force reduction, always a prime time for Mondelez to make cuts.
