In a continuation of a sad saga that is current State Farm, here I am at a crack of dawn trying to find out what will this week bring.
Resolution that might result in a layoff or more stressing, not really much of a choice.
Anyhow do we know what is planned for today and the rest of the week? Any new info that I might have missed over the weekend?
In my saga, I was up at the crack of dawn. Walked the dogs. Made some breakfast and coffee. Read the morning news. Same "stuff" different day. Showered, got dressed, went to work. Picked up a coffee on the way in and sat at my desk and did my job. Can I do anything about the fact my job may go poof? NO. Wait, I did. My bad. YES. If you are concerned about your job going POOF, what are you doing about it? Are you sitting around moaning or have you updated and sent out your resume, OUTSIDE OF CENTRAL ILLINOIS? Sometimes you just have to say enough. If you don't like what is happening, then go. There is a reason that SF is having issues keeping staff at the hubs. The pay. Simply put, Put yourself on the market, you don't have to take an offer if you get one. Trust me.

It is not true. These are all false rumors. People are angry and upset over job cuts and there purpose was to create an emotional release. MT is not leaving. Yes ER has an office at corporate and he is escorted both ways by security for his safety. Stop the hatred filled rumors and focus on what you can control in your life.
Yeah I think this is probably for real. Just looking at the results over the last two years should get him dumped not to mention if the other stuff is true. There is always some truth in rumors even if only 10% of the stuff I’m hearing is true that’s a big hit on our brand to a company that’s really been pretty squeaky clean.
Hopefully the official announcement that Tipsord has been let go! I think it’s more than a rumor. Management was actually talking about it in our office.
