The news came down today with MD Anderson employees being let go. I was a proud MD Anderson employee who loved work each day then, I opened my eyes, and saw the belly of the beast. Favoritism is rampant and elitism is even worse. The University of Texas Police at Houston Police department is a heavy-handed mob type organization with Chief Adcox leading the charge. If you disagree, challenge, or advocate change you might as well be exiled. This place stands for so much but yet waste more money than anyone knows. People walk around exercising all day which is great but that seems to be their only job. Departments have two and three people doing one person's job.
I do hope for the sake of the good they do, someone, someday, will figure this out and make the changes necessary to make this place everything it could be and not just what the elite leadership has made it.
