was speaking to Program mgmt team got exact numbers, MST around ~80 head count reduction the catch is none of the Sr Directors will get impacted , majority will be Sr Staff and Principle Enginners

I also overheard VP speaking to his Sr director, officially MST layoff will start from April 12th ...

Groups like program mgmt /product mgmt will have major impact i.e high as 60%, its because reduction target has to met by reducing manpower unlike QCT (where it can met by reduction in Capex expenditure) , this was been confirmed by head of program mgmt VP to some directors today.

QCT might see as high as 22% head count reduction bulk will come from testing groups ... next week Sr directors are meeting VPs to discuss more , the discussion is mostly justification for postions i.e if you are Sr staff and doing work of a Sr Engineer you are out ... half the Sr Directors will be given pink slip ~40% of the directors will be get pink slip , Sr staff its around ~25% , staff around ~10%

OP has already been fired, he wished for layoff. He clearly has not seen the internal emails. Pendejo.
