Couldn't agree more to this. Been a top performer in this team with excellent ratings from Systems and developers still got bonus/RSU far less than counter Taiwanese collegues. Most people here are hardworking but there is favoritism and politics. The enovironment was toxic to work, went to another team.

Good riddance. He'll probably go on and corrupt Intc the way he did here
SV was accused of favorism and regional politics..internal enquiry was setup by ER/HR dept and several people reporting to SV were interviewed.. end result: SV was shown the door.
He is now Sr Dr or VP @ INTC..
So why exactly did SV get fired? Was he harassing someone?

How so? I’ve worked with them and they’re a group of exceptional engineers, who work very hard and stay late every night. RF360 wouldn’t be where it is today without them
PdM is toast. 60-70%. over hiring without any quality in the last 2-3 years. Has been flooded with all low performers. Value tier VP is a joke--people are surprised how he even became a director..
Pdm is bloated big time
A lot of failed engineers are finding shelter into pdm.
If they go out no one would hire them as a junior pdm.
Taiwanese are nasty people!! Stay away from them, they think they are actually Japanese!! Totally f---ed up mindset

I think it’s Program Management, not Product Management. Also heard China and Korea can expect a lot of cuts in non engineering areas.
Modem SW CE was under bad management with YC deep roots into favoritism. Sr.staff and above enjoy the no Work daily schedule. All promotions are just dependent on directors wish. Engineers are pushed to the max. No change to enhance skill sets. Good to see that worth engineers will be finding a way out of the mess.
