It's bad place as far as my experience goes. No budgets for our teams, no trainings and no flexibility of work location. I work on cloud btw. And suppose to be working on so called sought after role. My manager is dumb. No hikes and bonus is going down to 30% this year and next year would be in single digits.

People can choose their teams? I was force moved to a seriously deranged manager. I had no choice at all. Very few options lately to move around, given the layoffs and sales being so bad.
There is some good people and some bad people working at Oracle. The conditions is good too, no free food but comes with free beverage. Its best place to test you're instincts the parents gave to you in birth too, sea what works and what don't. You will have a lot off fun if you chose your team intelligently.
It's the country club life you've always dreamed of. If you don't mind stealing work from other people and giving yourself credit for it, you are IN!
