Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Humana Jobs

Has anyone on here been hired internally since being laid off? If so, is the process the same as far as background, drug screening, references etc? I’m hesitant to apply because don’t want to waste time and if the background and drug screen isn’t required then that will make things faster. I need money to keep coming in! Any info much appreciated!

I thought the same thing, drug testing and background..... you have to submit to those most other places so what's the difference here or somewhere else? Me thinks somebody has something to hide. LOL

It’s not just the expectations, they want the desirables, and there’s are 100s applying for each job. Interesting, OP, you bring up the drug testing....you may want to hold off on any substances that stay in your urine for 30 days

I agree same thing happened to me. Applied for a job and was given a response 2 weeks later thanks but no thanks. I met every criteria for the job. Don't waste your time or talents on Humana. There are companies that value their employees and appreciate hard work. I wish you all the luck in your job search and you will be rewarded and blessed with the right opportunity.

If you are currently an employee you don't have to resubmit to drug testing and references, just the interview process. Unless you are applying to handle government contracts or Tricare patients. In that case the tree e is a more extensive background check mandates it ed by the federal government

It is a waste of time Humana will immediately put you in status under consideration and then in 2-3 weeks send you a rejection letter
