Starting with Palmisano and continuing with Rometti they have systematically set up a guaranteed to fail cycle. Cut testing, products go out with defects. Cut development more defects, cut support no response to defects. Move sales people constantly no relationships and unrealistic quotas (coupled with inferior products) lay off sales people. Repeat often. Result, constant revenue decline causing cycle to repeat.

I wonder what IBM will look like in say 5 to 10 years. Looking like the steels industry years back. Sad that the executives did not have the leadership to make IBM great again. They sold us for fools.
I came via acquisition and got run off because I am over fifty. Everything I have learned about building a successful sales team has been completely turned on its head at IBM. I have never seen an organization as fanatically focused on creating failure. The Hive mentality that makes it possible for so many to survive has s---ed the life out of a once great company. The drones and worker bees who are doing the dirty work to their fellow IBM'ers need to prepare themselves for when Karma comes a 'callin.
