Wrong. I’ve worked for competitors before, and have pending offers now. May or may not leave, but it has nothing to do with QFC or the strategy. I do what I do for my family.

Yes, we’re moving 15,000 plus roles (that’s “everything “) to a 100 person location that’s currently filled to capacity. Brilliant.
“Moving everything “ ??????? To what location ? Is there a building ? A lease? No and no. The current location that houses the Cal Desert employees is at full capacity. They will eventually grow that operation (supporting CALIFORNIA claims), but for now this is fake news.
Next round of lay offs coming soon ! Allstate is centralizing and moving everything to “ Cal Desert “ aka Arizona. I give it another month or so, before our next phone call lay off.

Agree. But the response will be; “ it’s not that easy to pack up and leave”, which is a cop out. We have employees leave to pursue other opportunities every day, so if someone who’s ashamed to be employed there won’t, they either have no market value, or are lazy. Plain and simple.
Then leave. Now. If you’re ashamed of the company you work for, you shouldn’t be working there .

The layoff last August was a blessing in disguise for me. Hated losing a decent salary and benefits. Another well known company snatched me up and the estimating job is actually enjoyable. Management doesn't threaten with stupid surveys. My salary is great and life is good. I feel for the ones left behind at Allstate. There's a better life out there!
Sounds like you need to be working somewhere else. Hopefully, you already are.
