They are shuffling people around from Thayer to CT and some people are moving around diff floors. Thought they may do something like this to potentially free up space.. they will prob rinse and repeat this every soo many weeks here till they get a larger amount then publicize if needed.
That's what I am thinking. As to limit anymore negative publicity...So they might do like <50 here then rinse and repeat...for one thing people from the Thayer building in KC will be moving into centennial and they are in the process of reshuffling the layout of staff there in CT...so figured they may do "something"
That's only true if it's a 'mass' layoff or a location closing. If the layoff at the given location is < 50 people, they might not have to do that.
department of labor has to publish layoffs in advance. I see nothing posted.
WELL???
centennial building in Kansas city
CT as in Connecticut? What office does DST have there? BRCC is in Hartford, but Broadridge is not DST.
Stupid question time. Do they have to publish anytime to the news when they indeed do layoffs? Was curious in case there was a set limit where they must notify the media. Made me wonder if they will do 20 - 40 at a time to keep it quiet for the merger if that was the case...
Proabably today saw 4 cop cars parked outside CT building while coming in today..and meetings rooms reserved..
